Singer Fiona Apple was arrested for possession of drugs Wednesday night at a border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.
Apple was scheduled to perform at ACL Lice at The Moody Theater Thursday night in Austin. That show has been postponed and all tickets will be valid.
According to the Hudspeth County Sheriff's Office, Apple's tour bus was stopped at a border checkpoint on I-10 around 8:00 p.m.
During a routine citizenship check, border patrol agents said a canine detected the presence of either concealed humans or controlled substances. The passengers were removed from the bus and a search was conducted.
Agents said they found a back-pack that contained .010 pounds of marijuana and .o1o pounds of hashish.
According to officials, Apple admitted that the drugs belonged to her. She was arrested and taken to the Hudspeth County jail. On Thursday she posted $10,000 bond and was released.
This is the same border town where Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg have also been arrested.
