More and More Women Turning To Liposuction

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

When dieting and exercise won't work, some women are turning to another option that is growing in popularity to slim down.

Doctors say many women are going that extra mile and turning to liposuction.

Results typically vary by body type, but experts say the key is in the skill of the doctor doing the job.

Dr. Thomas Young, for example, performs many forms of liposuction and body sculpting. Doctors from across the country come to Lehigh Valley to train with Dr. Young.

While the procedure can be very successful, there is a recovery period.

Doctors say potential patients must be in good health.

Fox 29 reporter Joyce Evans has more on liposuction and Dr. Young in the video above.
