--Panthers rolld up over 400 yards of total offense in another blowout of another AISD team.

3.Westwood (2-0, defeated Bowie 24-7)

--Warriors get over 100 yards receiving from Ty Marshal in win.

4.Westlake (2-1, lost Temple 49-42)

--Despite scoring 28 unanswered points, Chaps see Temple score game-winning TD with under a minutue remaining.

5.Stony Point (1-1, lost to Belton 15-14)

--Tigers give up a fourth-quarter touchdown and field goal, lose lead.

Class 4A

1.Leander (2-0, defeated 5A Hendrickson 35-0)

--Lions have outscored first two opponents 70-7.

2.Hays (2-0, defeated 5A Anderson 35-7)

--Rebels race to 28-0 halftime lead, cruise to another easy win.

3.Vista Ridge (2-0, defeated LBJ 35-0)

--Rangers' defense has tossed back-to-back shutouts to start the season.

4.Rouse (2-0, defeated 5A Cedar Ridge 28-10)

--Rouse hands Cedar Ridge first-ever loss.

5.Cedar Park (0-2, lost to 5A Abilene Cooper 17-14)

--TWolves' offense has struggled, scoring two TD's in two games.

Class 3A

1.Giddings (2-0, defeated Wimberley 31-26)

--Talk about a great start, after beating Liberty Hill, Buffs earn road win over state-ranked Texans.

2.Wimberley (1-1, lost to Giddings 31-26)

--Texans can't overcome fast start by Giddings in home loss.

3.Liberty Hill (1-1, defeated Hondo 61-16)

--Panthers bounce back from season-opening loss to Giddnigs as Corey Ferrell rushes for 176 yards.

4.Smithville (2-0, defeated 4A Marble Falls 40-32)

--Denton Cooper's interception return for touchdown in the 4th quarter seals another win for surprising Tigers.

5.Rockdale (2-0, defeated Burnet 24-17)

--Tigers build two-touchdown halftime lead, hold on to stay undefeated.

Class 2A/1A/Others

1.Lexington (1-1, lost to Cameron 38-20)

--Eagles can't cash in on early red zone oppurtunities, lose to Class 2A's 2nd-ranked team

2.Lago Vista (2-0, defeated Grandview 29-28)

--Vikings score games final 16 points in 4th quarter to complete furious rally.

3.Mason (2-0, defeated Goldthwaite 31-14)

--Punchers continue to show no hangover from winning state last December.

4.Blanco (1-1, defeated Comfort 42-14)

--Panthers build big halftime lead in blowout over Comfort.

5.Thorndale (2-0, defeated Somerville 54-16)

--Bulldogs cruise after building 41-3 halftime lead.
