Nonprofits help students apply for deferred action

Hundreds of students showed up to Central High School Saturday To get help applying for the deferred action program.
In an effort to show students the importance of the deferred action program, non-profit coalitions and attorneys educated the students on the qualifications and documents needed while they helped them apply for work permits.
Attorneys say students should receive their work permits within 90 days if they are approved by the deferred action program.
