Penn State's Anthony Fera, one of the nation's top kicker's and punters has transferred without penalty to play at UT.
Fera, who is from Cypress, can begin playing immediately. He brings two years of eligibility.
In 2011, Fera was a semifinalist for the Groza Award, which goes to the nation's top kicker.
Fera says it was a tough decision to leave Penn State. But a family member, who Fera calls the most important person in his life, was recently diagnosed with multiple Sclerosis and that his transfer will make it easier for his family to come see him play.
