OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WJBK) -

An employee at "Lighthouse of Oakland County" is now under investigation for stealing  thousands of dollars from the charity. It turns out this isn't the first time the suspect has been accused of embezzlement.

Fox two confirming with several sources that the feds are looking into Linda Linseman who is listed as a program manager at the "Lighthouse of Oakland County." She was in charge of using money from the feds to help people with housing needs, rent and utility payments.

Sources tell Fox two she is accused of taking thousands of dollars that was meant to help local families get back on their feet. She has not been formally charged, but she has a prior embezzlement conviction on her record. It was more than 10 years ago from a company called Postal Annex in Waterford.

Linseman is not currently working at the Lighthouse while this investigation continues. If she is convicted, Linseman could be in for a hefty punishment at the hands of the feds.
