The City of Austin is getting ready to welcome home Iraq veterans with a big parade and celebration on Saturday, July 7.
Bring the whole family and salute the troops starting at 9am. The parade will begin on the Congress Avenue bridge over Lady Bird Lake and travel north up Congress Avenue, ending with a ceremony on the south steps of the Capitol at 11am. It's all followed by a veteran's job and resource fair.
