Loriana Hernandez

Loriana Hernandez has been giving you the EDGE as co-anchor of the FOX 7 NEWS EDGE at 5 & 9 since January of 2007. Loriana hails from Peachtree City, GA, and is a graduate of the University of Georgia.

After graduating with a degree in International Business with a focus on International Law, Loriana began her career at CNN and CNN En Espanol, moving up the ranks from guest booker to Anchor/Reporter. She worked as the primary anchor for KSEE, the NBC affiliate in Fresno, CA, before moving to Dallas to serve as a morning anchor at NBC5.

No doubt, Loriana is passionate about news, but nothing is more paramount than her commitment to health, fitness and fighting autism. Loriana started the FOX 7 Health Edge and is dedicated to helping Austin live happy, live healthy. Her most proud personal achievement is founding Maggie's Hope. The non-profit organization was founded out of the emotional and financial toll she saw autism take on her own family after her 5-year old niece Maggie was diagnosed with the disorder.
