Anchor Mike Warren has been giving you the FOX 7 News Edge at 5 & 9 since 2004.
Mike's broadcasting career began with college radio at Creighton University in Omaha, NE where he graduated with a BA in English Literature.
Prior to his move to Austin, Mike worked as a reporter at KRNV in Reno and KMST in Monterey, CA. He was the morning anchor at KTUL in Tulsa and an anchor/reporter at KTVK in Phoenix.
On the weekends, you can most likely find Mike at various soccer fields across Austin rooting on one of his three children. He also enjoys a round of golf and often attempts to include his kids, though they usually decline in favor of video games. The self proclaimed "Asteroids generation gamer" is currently in the process of figuring out how to use newer system handsets because there are SO many buttons. His kids, however, love it because they can kick his butt!
