Chief Meteorologist Scott Fisher has been giving you the FOX 7 Weather Edge since 2000.
Scott holds a degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University, a Communications degree from the University of New York at Albany and has completed a portion of the Masters in Education program at Iona College.
His television career began at WNYT in New York's Capital Region. He then went on to work at KNDU in Washington and WCYB, serving East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Scott also worked in radio at WRKL and WCDB and served as a public school teacher in NY, VA and TN. He recently received certification in Texas teaching.
Other than appearing on FOX 7, Scott gives you the edge with weather reports from the field at UT football, basketball and baseball games and is proud to be a part of the KVET Texas Music Series each year at Hill's Café.
