PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) — A Chino Valley man has been arrested after a deputies found a woman's body.
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office says deputies went to the home of 67-year-old Stella Streppa after relatives asked the Sheriff's Office to check on her because she had not been heard from recently. Deputies entered the home and found Streppa's body and determined she was a homicide victim.
Deputies also discovered Streppa's truck was missing.
Prescott police located the vehicle Sunday night along with 18-year-old Patrick Williams. Yavapai County authorities say Williams was booked on a murder charge.
Detectives say Williams has lived in Streppa's neighborhood.
The case remains under investigation.
