A graduate of Auburn University, Dave began his career in Alabama at WSFA and WAAY. He moved onto WHBQ in Memphis, TN, and then returned to WSFA before settling into Austin here at KTBC.
Dave has given you the edge with live coverage from the field of many major sporting events, including the Superbowl, Sugar, Cotton and Fiesta Bowls as well as the PGA Championship and the Legends of Golf.
A well rounded broadcast journalist, this AP Best Sportcaster recipient has also worked in various radio markets, served as a columnist for "Longhorn Illustrated" and a play-by-play color commentator for Big 12 football and basketball.
Dave has also received Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin award nine times.
