5 Inducted into UT Women’s Hall of Honor

On Friday five new women were inducted into the UT Women’s Athletics Hall of Honor. The inductees include Tiffany Cohen from swimming, Nanceen Perry from track, Jenny Harris from Volleyball, Olympic gold diver Laura Wilkinson, and basketball’s Edwina Brown.

The No. 2 Texas Longhorns defeated the Kansas State Wildcats 3-0 in Austin on Wednesday night. The Longhorns have now won 19 straight matches at home.

On Tuesday night the UT women’s basketball team fell to defending champion Connecticut 83-58 in San Antonio. Coach Goestenkors and the team say the game was important because it showed them where they need to improve.
