Woman Dies in Overnight Wreck

Austin, TX - A woman died after a wreck Thursday night in North Austin.

It happened just before midnight on I-35 near Wells Branch Parkway.

Police said the woman was driving the wrong way on the southbound side of the interstate.

Her PT Cruiser hit two other cars, but no one else was seriously hurt.

Southbound lanes of I-35 were shut down for almost four hours while police investigated.
