myFOXaustin(AUSTIN) - A man is dead after police say he was shot during an argument at an apartment complex in north Austin. The murder happened at whisper woods apartment at 408 Wonsley Drive.

The suspect police say is armed and dangerous and the murder suspect description is extremely vague. Police say they are looking for a black heavy set man in his 30's or 40's about 5’7, weighing about 220 pounds, has a small Afro and gold front teeth. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Around 1:30 Sunday morning, Austin police responded to 408 Wonsley Drive for shots fired. When they arrived, they found 29-year old Franklin Espinales with a gunshot wound. Police believe he got into an argument with another man at the apartment when he got shot.

"It shouldn't have to come down to that on any level, if you have an argument settle it talk it out or just walk away from the situation," said neighbor Lauren Baza

He was sent by ambulance to UMC Brackenridge where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say the murder suspect fled the scene afterwards. They say there were several witnesses who saw a large older looking white car fleeing the area shortly after the shooting. If you know something about this incident you are asked call police.
