Man Hit with Car Dies in Hays Co.

myFOXaustin - An early morning traffic accident turned tragic when a 28-year-old man died.

Authorities say Donald Roberts was walking down I-35 in Hays County early Saturday morning when he was struck from behind. Roberts was walking on the inside lane of the highway when a car going in the same direction hit him from behind. Roberts died at the scene.

The diver of the car, a 17-year-old boy was also hurt, but only suffered minor injuries. The Department of Public Safety says he was wearing a seatbelt.

This accident is under investigation, there is no word if the teen will receive any citations.
