Crowds flocked to Lake Travis on Labor Day weekend helping businesses that were hurt by last year’s drought.

The Labor Day celebration on Lake Travis was a good one this year at Just for Fun Watercraft Rental. The extra water was just what operations director, Hawkeye Roth's, recipe for a summer of success called for.

"We've set records we haven't set in the 23 years of Just for Fun." Roth says he set rental records for June and July. Labor Day weekend was the cherry on top. "This holiday has been exceptional in that, thank God, there were no injuries, limited damage and there were plenty of people and everybody had a great time.’

Yearly Lake Travis visitors Tony Shenavari and his family took the drive from Houston to hit the water after taking Labor Day 2009 off.

"That was very disappointing last year. Seeing such a beautiful lake drying out like that was disappointing because there's no water. It's very nice to see it's coming back again."

For Chris Cayhill and his crew are writing off last summer. On a holiday, with a full lake, aboard his 34-foot speedster, it's easy to leave the past behind.

"I mean no one could put their boat in the water. All the ramps were out of the water and now lake levels are completely full almost. Now it's twice as many people twice as much fun."
