Impact Austin Gives Grants to Local Groups

Impact Austin, a local philanthropic group of women, presented five local groups with grants of $105,000 each on Monday. The money went to Austin Groups for the Elderly, Austin Parks Foundation, Badgerdog Literary Publishing, CASA of Travis County, and Communities in Schools of Central Texas.
Impact Austin is comprised of 525 women who pool their money together to give grants to organizations that help the community.
