myFOXaustin - Four different bank robberies by four different people in just over a week have Austin police busy.

The latest bank robbery happened at a Wells Fargo on Red River Street in central Austin.

Austin police say the suspect is a white male between 5’11 and 6’1 with a thin, skinny build, short light brown hair and a light beard. Police say this robbery followed the familiar format.

"He approached the teller, demanded cash, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money there were no weapons during this robbery or note," Corporal Scott Perry with APD said.

This is the fourth robbery to happen in the past 8 days. The first happened on Friday, August 27 at Prosperity Bank on Research Boulevard. Then on Monday, two different banks were robbed within two hours, the Chase Bank on North 183 and another Wells Fargo bank on South Lamar. Police say none of these robberies are related.

At the time of this robbery there were customers and employees inside, fortunately no one was hurt. If you have any information on these robberies call police.
