Austin, TX - One seat on the Austin City Council still needs to be decided.

A run-off election next month will determine if Randi Shade or Kathie Tovo will win Place Three.

Final results show Tovo finished ahead with 46 percent of the vote. Shade, the incumbent, came in a distant second with 33 percent.

Neither candidate received 50 percent of the vote, so a run-off is needed to determine a winner.

That's set for June 18.

Two other Austin City Council seats were up for grabs in Saturday's election.

In Place Four, council member Laura Morrison won with 73 percent of the vote, and in Place One, Chris Riley kept his seat with 66 percent of the vote.
