Austin, (Tx) - Friends of Esme Barrera are skeptical that police have found her murderer.
This comes after police say her suspected killer was found dead in his condo on Thursday.
?I?m just trying to be patient with it. I hope it is I hope that there is more to it that someone else was with this guys at one in the morning and he was crazy and went off somewhere I?m optimistic but I don not want to arrive at a conclusion,? said Patrick Floyd, Esme?s Close Friend.
Back on new year?s day, Police found 29 year old Esme Barrera murdered in her home.
Since then, police have put up flyers with a sketch of who they think murdered Esme.
This man 25 year old James Brown is a prime suspect in that case.
These are the two sketches so you can see the comparison.
On January 12th, brown?s roommate found him dead in their condo.
Police believe he killed himself a week before.
It will take weeks before d-n-a results confirm brown is in fact the person who murdered Esme.
Police say DNA results link brown to four assaults that happened in south Austin between July and September.
Police say brown might have been selling his stuff days before he killed himself, if you bought anything from him call police.
The money raised from the benefit concert at Beerland will go to the family and for girls rock camp, where Esme volunteered.
