APD Invesitigating Possible Murder Suicide in West Austin

MMA Fighter Involved in Possible Murder/Suicide

Austin, TX - Austin Police are investigating a possible murder suicide in West Austin that happened on McNeil near 2222 on Sunday night.

Police say they received a call of a possible suicidal person around 11 p.m. When officers arrived at the Alexan Ribelin Ranch Apartments, they found two people dead inside one of the units.

The victims are 26-year-old Kenneth Brian Trevino, who owns the apartment and his ex-girlfriend 23-year-old Tiffanie Perry.

A relative of Kenneth Trevino’s called 911 and stated that Trevino was despondent over the recent breakup with his exgirlfriend,
Tiffanie Perry. The relative stated that Trevino had threatened to commit suicide.

APD detectives say both of the victims had signs of trauma to both of their bodies, they are looking at this as a possible murder/suicide.

Trevino is an MMA fighter according to sherdog.com had a 5-2 record as a fighter. 

Detectives are awaiting autopsy results from the Travis County's Medical Examiner's Office.

The case remains under investigation by homicide detectives.
