Mack Brown Press Conference: 9/06

On Monday Longhorn Coach Mack Brown discussed his team's 34-17 victory over Rice in the Season opener.

Brown discussed which of the freshmen played and how they adjusted to the college game. 

He also shared his thoughts on how the offense performd with Garrett Gilbert starting his first college game. 

Brown mentioned that starting running back Cody Johnson was also slowed by an ankle sprain early in the game.  Tre Newton was announced as the starting running back for this week's game against Wyoming.
