myFOXaustin(AUSTIN) - One person is dead after a mid-morning crash just south of Cedar Park. Police believe alcohol may be to blame.
Around 7:20 this morning, 50-year-old Michael Filius was driving down Lakeline Boulevard when police say he ran a red light, plowing into a the victim’s Plymouth 4-door car. That driver died at the scene.
Filius was treated and released into police custody. He's now waiting to be charged with intoxication manslaughter.
So far, police have not released the name of the driver who was killed.
