6th Annual Learning Fair

Thousands of Spanish-speaking parents were at the largest educational fair in Central Texas Saturday, hoping to help their kids succeed.
The 6th Annual Learning Fair was held at the North Austin Event Center.
The fair is different than most because this was only for spanish speaking parents.
Organizers say they do this so they can talk and greet families in a language they speak at home and can understand.
Also, U-S Representative, Lloyd Doggett and Austin Independent School District Superintendent, Maria Carstarphan, talked to parents about the importance of getting a college education.
More than 100 organizations and universities were on hand to provide information.
Organizers say more than ten thousand families showed up today.
