Hollywood is coming to a small Central Texas town. The Coen Brothers are remaking the John Wayne classic, True Grit, in Granger.

The remake stars Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin. Many of the crew members are from Austin.

They are busy finishing up the movie set and taking one Granger street back in time to the 1800's.

The town's post office is hidden behind one building facade and residents have to walk on the movie set to get their mail. A real doctor's office is also part of the set.

City leaders say it is exciting to have such a big production in their small farm town.

"Everybody is just waiting for the filming to hit," said Mayor Scott Murrah. "They see all the action going on. They've been working on this since January. Here it is in April now, we're coming up on four months. They're supposed to start filming in late April. The anticipation is building, everybody's getting ready."

Shooting is expected to last about 7 days.
