Man Sentenced for E Austin Murder

On Friday 20-year-old Markeih Thompson was sentenced to 30 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to murder. He was accused of killing Joseph Russo at the Longhorn Landing Apartments in East Austin last year.

Police say the killing took place after an argument got out of hand.

Thompson fled to Corpus Christi where he was later caught in a mall.
