Facebook Ready to Start Hiring

AUSTIN, TX - On Thursday, the City of Austin approved $200,000 worth of incentives for Facebook to open a new office here in Austin. The additional jobs have already been posted on Facebook as the company is ready to start hiring locally.

Facebook,  is the leading social networking site that has accumulated over 400 million members worldwide, and is trying to generate revenue within its platform. 

Many of the jobs posted on the Austin page, list jobs in sales and account management, plus a few fraud analysts positions.

According to Facebook web site, "Austin is home to our first U.S. sales and online operations office outside of Palo Alto where we support our users, advertisers, and developers. We work hard and play hard in Austin by keeping it weird with live music, SXSW, and Austin City Limits. Thank goodness we can work off the local BBQ and ice cream with a group run around Lady Bird Lake!"
