City Wants Google Broadband Network

The city of Austin is asking for the public’s help to try and bring Google’s ultra high speed broadband network to Austin.
They are asking citizens to go to BigGigAustin.org to learn more about the project and nominate Austin through an online application.
City officials are also hoping people will share ideas about how they could use a gigabit network.
The city is working on his application to Google with is due March 26.
