Travis CO Cracks Down on Deadbeat Parents

On Monday Travis County constables were out in force arresting parents who have failed to pay child support. Ten deputies spread out in five teams to make the arrests. In the first few hours, 23 people had already been arrested.
Constables urge parents who are behind in their payments to call their office before they are arrested. Parents can also call the Attorney General’s Office Child Support Division at 1-800-252-8014.
