E Austin Brush Fire Ignites Tires

A small brush fire on Springdale Road in East Austin burned a shed containing tires on Monday afternoon. The tires burned and released heavy black smoke into the air that could be seen for miles.
Fire fighters were able to contain most of the blaze by 5:00 p.m.
