Convicted drug dealer David Schwitzer of Granger was sentenced to 25 years in prison for possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana. Authorities say that Schwitzer admitted to selling drugs near Granger Elementary School for years.

In March the Williamson County Sheriff's Office began receiving tips from the Crime Stoppers hotline that Schwitzer was trafficking drugs in the area. After conducting a surveillance operation, investigators conducted a search of Schwitzer's home. They found several grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana as well as over $19,000 in cash.

As part of the plea deal, Schwitzer must surrender the cash to law enforcement agencies and serve five years in prison.
