Two suspects wanted in connection with home invasions at the La Monterone Apartment complex have been arrested, but Williamson County Sheriff Deputies are still searching for two others involved in the attacks.
Deputies say Cedrick Foley, 22, along with two others forced their way into an apartment with a handgun on November 6. The other suspects were described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, about 6'-2", 185 lbs., with muscular build and short hair. The third suspect was an hispanic female approximately 25 years of age, 5'-6", 130 lbs., and black hair pulled back in a pony tail. Foley was taken into custody at the Austin Police Department Headquarters.
On November 17, 2009, another home invasion style robbery occurred at the same apartment complex. In this robbery, two black males forced their way into an apartment with a handgun. On November 18, 2009, Williamson County detectives arrested John Maxwell Green, 20, in his Round Rock Apartment, located at 515 East Palm Valley.
Mr. Green was identified as one of the two suspects by witnesses. Detectives are still working on identifying the other suspect, which is described as a black male, approximately 25 years of age, 6ft-2in, 185 lbs, muscular build and short hair.
No one was injured in either robbery. Detectives are not ruling out that the two robberies could be related. The robberies appear, at this time, to be random but with special circumstances.
Anyone with information on either robbery can contact the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (512-943-1300) or Crime Stoppers at 1800-253-STOP (7867). Tips are completely anonymous, and you could be eligible for a reward. Due to the case still being investigated, certain details are protected to protect the integrity of the case.
