Blanco County Sheriff's deputies responded to a bank robbery Wednesday morning at the Security State Bank on Highway 281 in Blanco.

According to officials, three armed men forced three female employees into the bank just after 7:00 a.m. The employees do a walk around the bank to see if anybody is outside before they go in. They did not see anybody but when they went to go unlock the door, the men came out and forced them inside the bank.

The men, described as being Hispanic, were wearing ski masks on their heads and pantyhose on their hands.

The robbers duct taped the hands and mouths of the employees and forced them to their knees. They then grabbed money out of the night deposit box and fled the bank. Witnesses say they may have fled in a red truck but authorities could not release a vehicle description.

The three employees were not injured.
