Cen.Texas Soldiers Die in Afghanistan

Soldiers with Austin ties have been killed in Afghanistan.
The military says two Texas National Guardsmen died in a bomb attack Friday, Oct. 16.
They've been identified as Staff Sargent Chris Staats of Fredericksburg and Specialist Anthony Green of North Carolina.
Both were deployed from Camp Mabry a year ago.
A base spokesperson said Staats and Green were set to return home in about a month.
