Planned Parenthood is pushing for a reform of women's healthcare so Austin women can get proper care.
The clinics have seen a 30% spike in patients this year compared to last. Planned Parenthood Federation of America President, Cecile Richards says this is confirmation that more women than ever are uninsured and in need of healthcare.
Richards says Planned Parenthood isn't necessarily backing the president's health care reform bill, but the organization is pushing for some sort of reform, allowing women to choose their own doctor.
