Residents in Williamson County have seen several inches of rain Saturday- that's on top of the several inches they saw yesterday. High water from the heavy rain forced a few road closures and threatened a few homes.
All major roads in Williamson County are passable. The rain is letting up, and that's helping water levels along creeks and ditches to drop.
Earlier Saturday residents of Florence had some tense moments- a drainage creek on the west side of town overflowed its banks and two homes were threatened.
Between Round Rock and Cedar Park Brushy Creek jumped into and over some roads and a car had to be pulled out.
Sheriff’s deputies are giving out tickets for driving through the creeks.
Some of the rural roads in the county remain closed.
