Grass Fire Contained in Williamson CO

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX - Several firefighting companies are battled a 20 acre grass fire in Williamson County Thursday afternoon. The fire is located just east of Thorndale on FM 1063. Authorities were able to contain the fire by around 4:00 p.m.

Williamson County officials say, two abandoned non-residential buildings were fully engulfed. Fire companies from Thrall, Copeland, Taylor, Thorndale and Weir are all on the scene assisting in battling the blaze.
