Driver Charged in Hit and Run Death

David Delacerda, the suspect in a deadly hit and run accident that killed a construction worker on I-35 last week, has now been charged with manslaughter. Delacerda is accused of hitting Fontonio Cortes-Cruz and not stopping to help.
Delacerda’s burned SUV was found in Hays County.
Delacerda already faced charges for failure to stop and render aid.
