Overturned RVs, Light Poles in Burnet

Burnet County is among the places most heavily hit by the storms that past through Central Texas Thursday night. FOX 7’s Nik Ciccone reports from a RV park off of Highway 281 in Burnet County, where several RVs were overturned. High winds caused lots of damage through the area including knocking over a light pole into some of the cars at a local dealership and taking down some of the power lines. The nearby city of Bertram also experienced damage and officials in Bertram are spending Friday morning trying to restore traffic and train signals. There are no overnight reports of injuries in Burnet County, but officials plan to offer a more accurate estimate of injuries and damage on Friday.
