Missing Williamson CO Teen Found

Authorities in Williamson County have located 14-year-old Shyla Ortiz who had been missing since Sunday. The girl lived near the city of Weir just Northeast of Georgetown.

Her family had notified authorities that she was missing around 6:30 Sunday evening. Neither her family nor her friends knew where she was. Bloodhounds were brought in to try and find her and a reward was even offered.

However, Williamson County officials say that just before 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening one of Ortiz’s friends turned her in to officials.
