SXSW: Star-Studded Red Carpet

myFOXaustin(AUSTIN) - The star-studded red carpet premiers continued Sunday drawing in hundreds of people and an Austin computer gaming guru who chronicled his adventure into space.

Richard Garriott premiered his out-of-this world documentary called Man on a Mission Sunday in his space suit. In 2008, Garriott paid 30 million dollars to take a seat onboard a Russian Rocket bound for the international space station.

The documentary chronicles Garriott's one year training course in Moscow along with his ten day adventure in space.

"Now that the door to... the road to space is open, the cost is going to start coming down quickly," said Garriott. "So, with in the next decade, definitely in the lifetimes of the youngers here at the film space travel with become much more common."

Garriott who brought his new girlfriend to the premier said he would like to take another trip.

"I haven't convinced her to take a trip herself. I said hey let's go live together in Mars and build a new community?" said Garriott.

Also premiering Sunday, Electra Luxx. Hollywood stars like Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage), Malin Akerman (Couple's Retreat) and Carla Gugino. All three women rocked the red carpet. Electra Luxx is the second installment to a film that premiered last year at south by southwest.
