Austin, TX - For Corey Smith, one of the best things about making music has always been hanging out and having a good time with his friends. It's still that way 10 years after his early days of playing bars in Athens, Ga.

The crowds at his sold-out shows frequently number in the thousands. And thanks to his gift for crafting addictively soulful songs Corey is one of modern country's hottest young artists. He's an indie performer with a dedicated following.

"To me success is a matter of staying focused on songwriting and continuing to mature artistically," Corey said. "I try not to think about the popularity."

"Keeping Up with the Joneses" is Corey's sixth release on his Undertone Record label. The album features his road-tested rhythm section.
