myFOXaustin (AUSTIN) - This 2008-2009 season is the Capital City Men's Chorus' 20th anniversary. They have been in continuous operation since 1988. There are approximately 60 singing and non-singing members of the chorus. The Capital City Men's Chorus is an all volunteer organization whose mission is to provide outreach and inspiration to the LGBT community through our voices and performances. Dr. Jeffrey Jones-Ragona, our current artistic director, has led the men's chorus since 1995. The chorus has had two recent cd releases, Return to Standard Time (2007) and Northern Lights (2000). Check out their next performance May 2nd entitled Bigger, Bolder, Broadway(er).
