Austin, TX - Betty Staehr and Leslie Fender of Dress for Success stopped by Good Day to talk about their collaboration with Westbank Dry Cleaners.
From Aug. 1 through Aug. 21, Westbank Dry Cleaners will take clothing donations at all 8 locations as part of a clothing drive for Dress for Success.
Clean, gently worn professional garments, shoes and accessories will be accepted. Contributions will benefit low-income women interviewing for full-time employment who need appropriate attire to make a positive first impression.
During Austin Fashion Week, Aug. 14-21, Plain Ivey Jane and Girl Next Door will accept donations downtown on Second Street.
