AUSTIN - It's a breed of dog that sometimes gets a bad rap, but a group of pit bull owners are working to get them a more positive public image. A local non-profit organization, called Love-A-Bull, works to educate and advocate on behalf of pit bulls. Members promote responsible pit bull ownership and work to improve the breed's image. Love-A-Bull's training program starts Thursday and runs through June 18th. It's from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Southpaws Playschool on South Lamar.
