AUSTIN - With increased competition for jobs, it's more important than ever to brand and market yourself in order to find success. Career architect Linda Ginac offers tips on how to identify your talents and the value you can bring to a company and then use professional techniques to advertise yourself.

Here are some of Linda's tips:
-Define your Unique Selling Proposition (USP) in 15 words or less
-Create a business card and include your USP
-Create a career portfolio - a visual representation of your accomplishments
-Add a bit of creative design to your resume
-Wear a Job Search T-shirt to a networking event with the tagline "Hire Me", your name, USP and phone number or email
-Create an animated flash video and include it with your resume
-Create an interactive resume and post it to YouTube
-Send an oversized resume to an employer
