Carrie Underwood Helping Dog Shelters

On Wednesday night country music star Carrie Underwood played a concert for her fans at the Erwin Center in Austin. Earlier in the day she teamed up with Pedigree to help provide dog food for animals in shelters.

Underwood and Pedigree presented a check to the Austin Humane Society for $10,000.

Underwood and the company have also paired up to provide food for dogs in shelters. For every person who becomes of the Pedigree Facebook Page , the company will donate a bag of dog food to a shelter.
